How to measure your ring size?

Measuring your ring size at home is quick, easy, and only takes a few minutes. Here are two simple ways to find your size, gracefully and accurately.

Method 1: Measure Your Finger

  1. Take a thin piece of string, ribbon, or paper.
  2. Wrap it gently around the base of your finger.
  3. Mark the spot where the ends meet.
  4. Lay it flat, and measure the length in millimeters (mm) using a ruler.
  5. Compare your measurement to a ring size chart to find your size.

Tip: The fit should be snug enough to stay on, but smooth enough to slide over your knuckle with ease.

Method 2: Measure a Ring You Already Own

  1. Choose one of your favourite rings that fits the finger you want to measure.
  2. Measure the inside width of the ring (straight across the middle) in millimeters (mm).
  3. Match that number to a ring size chart to find your size.

Best Tips for the Most Accurate Size

  • Measure your finger at the end of the day, when it’s at its normal size.
  • Don’t measure when your hands are cold: this can make your size read smaller.
  • Measure 2–3 times to be sure.
  • If you are between sizes, always choose the bigger size for comfort.
